LG Optimus 3D to be called 3D MAX
The CX2 is supposed to feature a better processor, superior display, slimmer shell and even better connectivity options (incl. NFC).

3D MAX should run on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (TI OMAP chipset) and use a 4.3" WVGA NOVA 3D display capable of better 2D-to-3D conversion. The two cameras will remain 5 megapixels, but it's yet to see if they will be capable of 1080p 3D videos. The 3D smartphone will most probably run on Android Gingerbread with much more 3D stuff than its predecessor.
BlackBerry Bold 9790 Review (video)
The Bold 9790 is powered by a different processor and HD video is one of the first things scrapped. To make amends, the phone has what's probably the best BlackBerry still camera to date. Both the screen size and resolution have taken a cut but we haven’t told you the best part yet. The Bold 9790 looks no worse than the Bold 9900 and costs less.
Key features:
- BlackBerry OS v7
- Enhanced email and data security with BlackBerry Internet Service
- 2.45" 16M-color TFT touchscreen of 480 x 360px resolution
- QWERTY keyboard
- Quad-band GSM support and quad-band 3G with HSDPA
- Dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity
- NFC support

- microSD card slot (up to 16GB)

- Compact body and solid build quality
LG Optimus L3 E400 goes quietly up for pre-order (video Included)
In the quietest manner possible, LG's latest Optimus L3 E400 budget smartphone has gone up for pre-order at a Swedish online retailer. The smartphone, despite lacking a massive spec sheet, is bound to bring a serious dash of good looks to the market for lower end Android handsets.
It features a 3.2" display with the rather lowly resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. A 3MP snapper is present on the back. MicroSD card slot is at your service as well, along with full connectivity suite. There is even an FM radio present. The Optimus L3 will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box.

Bada 2.0 update seeding to the Samsung S8500 Wave
The Bada 2.0 update certainly took its time to arrive, but it's finally seeding to S8500 Wave smartphones. So if you have resisted the temptation to flash it by yourselves from one of the leaked ROMs, you time has come.
The release isn't officially announced by Samsung just yet and there is no information about its rollout schedule, but we suspect it will go global quite quickly. Bada is not too widespread a system and while the Wave was a pretty popular smartphone, Samsung servers should handle it quite easily.
You can check if the update is already available for your region by hooking up your Samsung S8500 Wave to your computer and launching the Samsung Kies software suite. Then you should follow the steps to backup your data and flash it on your smartphone.
Just don't forget to drop us a line in the comments section below, sharing how do you find your newly updated phone
Xperia S to feature a fast-charge battery and anti-stain coating
The first Xperia to have stripped itself of the Ericsson brand, the upcoming Sony Xperia S, is rumored to feature a sunlight-activated coating which should help repel dirt and other stain-forming materials, as well as a quick-charge battery.
Dirt and chocolate stains on the cover are said to come off easily after the UV coating is exposed to sunlight for several seconds, and the battery charge times are expected to be reduced by half when compared to previous Xperia models. A ten minute charge should provide an hours worth of standby.
We first got a look at the Xperia S a few weeks ago at CES, and were really impressed with its BRAVIA-powered display image quality

The Samsung I9103 Galaxy R rode in on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform and became the first affordable dual-core smartphone from the South Korean company. With a bright SC-LCD screen and brushed metal back, the Galaxy R is just different enough from the Galaxy S lineup to stand on its own.
